Dear Bitterroot Stoves: This fireplace heats our whole house (2,800 sq ft. 2 story with a cathedral ceiling in the living room that opens into the bedrooms upstairs). This is the best heating system we have had in all of the houses we have owned. In our older age we have come to enjoy a warmer house so we can heat the house to 74 degrees and with the ceiling fan the heat is distributed very nicely upstairs and down. Our Lord Jesus Christ is able to provide beyond our needs and give peace and warmth to our cold hearts. Thank you for the fireplace to warm our home! Because of Him!

Bitterroot Stoves 2014: This is a letter of recognition of outstanding customer service by your store manager Jeff Gibson. Jeff worked on my problematic Harman wood stove for nearly three months this fall to remedy a faulty handle that refused to lock. He made weekly visits to disassemble the stove, add new parts and rebuild it. Though this was frustrating for both of us Jeff always remained professional and positive. He assured he would make it work. Jeff ended up installing a new Harman stove for me deeming the old one a "lemon". He called me a few days ago just to hear how I was doing with my new stove. That level of concern for customers is why I'm writing this letter. I tell people how great it is to do business with Bitterroot Stoves and the main reason for that is Jeff Gibson.

Chad's experience was obvious as he worked through the process, and his customer service was also excellent. He went above and beyond and we could not be happier! What a valuable employee!
Bitterroot Stoves: I felt I had to write you about the excellent service we have received in two different situations now from your employee, Eric Bartley. Our first experience with him was for a chimney cleaning at our old house before we sold it. Eric was very thorough and did extremely good work. I gave his name and your company's number to the people who bought the house with an excellent recommendation for the job he did. Last week, we called for service to a propane stove at our new house that had quit working, and Eric was sent to do the service call. It was an older stove, and he worked diligently and patiently until he had fixed multiple problems with it. When he left, it was working beautifully. It is obvious that Eric works hard to do a good job and his great attitude makes him a pleasure to have working in your home. He is so exceptional, I felt I needed to write and let you know what a wonderful reflection he is on your company.

Dear Bitterroot Stoves: I'm writing to commend two employees of Bitterroot Stoves for their exceptional customer service and professionalism. Recently, my stove pipe was leaking so I called Bitterroot Stoves and spoke with Jeff Gibson. He was very helpful and patient with me, as I was in panic mode. I emailed him some photos of the damage (taken from the ground because I'm not comfortable climbing a ladder to the roof) and he responded quickly, sending me an email explaining exactly what needed to be done. He promptly followed up with a phone call and scheduled the service call. I was impressed he could tell the brand of the pipe just by looking at the pictures, and he explained to me each part I needed and why. Chad worked all day on my stove. He was prompt, efficient and so polite, even when he had to drive to Darby and back to Sula (60 miles round trip) to get a part we didn't know I needed until he pulled of the old pipe. He kept up his great attitude and did an incredible job, working in the rain most of the day. I was so nervous when he was on the ladder, but he was steady as a rock. I couldn't believe he was able to do that job by himself. He took all the debris and left the stove area cleaner than when he arrived. I'm a seasonal resident in Montana and had a few projects in mind for the summer that involved hiring contractors. The stove pipe wasn't one of them, but that was the one I received the very best customer service from. Jeff & Chad are truly great assets to your company. I will definitely use and recommend Bitterroot Stoves in the future. Best wishes for continued success.
This morning Eric Bartley came to clean our wood stove. I was very impressed with Eric's Thoroughness and familiarity with our type of wood stove. Eric was very professional and explained some of the characteristics of our stove that we weren't familiar with. Eric is a great improvement! Thanks again for doing such a great job!

Thank you Bitterroot Stoves (Ravalli Republic Ad): I would like to express my personal graditude to the Bitterroot Stoves Team. Loren & Chad in Particular. In 2007 my wife and I purchased a brand new stove. Although a great stove it had a small defect from shipping. After calling Bitterroot Stoves, they informed me that due to the financial situation of our country, this particular brand was undergoing a restructure in ownership and that the part would be delayed. Bitterroot Stoves would call the company several times a week with little response. As winter quickly approached, Bitterroot Stoves took it into their own hands to pull out my inoperable stove and install a loaner stove to keep my family warm throughout the winter while waiting on the part. The part finally came in Summer and Chad swapped the heavy stove back out. It is service after the sale that makes small companies shine and needs to be acknowledged. ALthough frustrating on both ends, Bitterroot Stoves is A-1 in my book for customer service. And it is this service that will keep Bitterroot Stoves in business for years to come.
